Responsible for facilitating our memorial service (LFR Labor Day weekend) for family members and friends of family to help the membership understand and appreciate our family heritage. In addition, this committee is responsible for researching our family history, the preservation of historical records, and will comprise of knowledgable family members of all sides of our big family.

Assume responsibility in conjunction with the Board of Trustees for the finances of the Layer Family Organization. This shall include developing and monitoring the budget, financial recording and reporting, disbursement, dues/donations, and auditing of records.

Responsible for the planning and organization of the LFR. In addition, to the facilitation of food services, prizes, and hotel/travel accommodations for out-of-town members.

Just because our reunions are every other year doesn't mean we can't still get together occasionally. This committee is responsible for the planning/coordination of LFR sponsored trips (i.e. cruises) and events (i.e. paint nights, 5k walk/runs, and so on).

Tasked with increasing overall engagement and support among our younger millennial family members. In addition, to communicating and coordinating all activities for children ages 6 through 12 in accordance to the LFR mission statement.

Responsible for the planning and coordination of the LFR activities and games (adult/youth).

This outreach committee will be tasked on formulating programs and activities aimed to support parents and promote intergenerational community.
